About NDA Housing

NDA Housing Partners, LLC is a joint effort between National Development of America, Inc. and the Lee County Housing Development Corporation to provide entry level, single family home ownership to local residents.  National Development and the HDC have been partners for over 20 years and have produced over 150 single family, for sale homes for low- and moderate-income buyers in Lee County.  Given its long, successful track record, NDA Housing’s efforts are supported ,in part, by additional funding provided by the Florida Housing Finance Corporation through its bond and HOME programs Lee County through its SHIP program.  These additional government dollars help these entry level buyers purchase homes that they otherwise could not afford. 

During the current economic times, NDA Housing has modified its approach to the program by purchasing foreclosed homes from various financial institutions.  Upon acquisition, these homes are refurbished and prepared for home ownership.  The homes are located in Lehigh Acres and consist of three- and four-bedrooms with two-car garages on minimum 1/4 acre lots.  The price range of the houses is $60,000 to $75,000 providing a once in a life time opportunity for homebuyers.  NDA Housing Partners has successfully sold a dozen of such homes during 2009 and anticipates that velocity to increase in 2010.  NDA Housing Partners currently has several inventory homes that are presold and are in the final stages of permanent financing.
